Imagine having magic during Photo time. Photograph's can take up to 3 hours in some cases and not everyone is involved in getting their pictures taken at one time. You could have some strolling magic during this time to keep everyone's spirits up before you head over to the reception.

During the time when guests arrive having some entertainment is great. It gets tables that not quite know each other talking. It is a great ice breaker.
